Activities for March
Throughout the week, children ask, “Is today P.E.?” Ask any teachers at the center and they will know what you are talking about. This month, children are doing activities that are completely different from one another.
Dodging
One activity that the children are playing for dodging is Crab Dodge Ball. The children are dodging foam balls as they are being tossed up in the air, the challenge is to stay in crab walk position.
Muscular Strength
Some examples of skills the children are practicing when it comes to muscular strength are pulling a log on a scooter board and squeezing out water from a towel to help build their muscles.
