January Skills
Hey Everyone,
This is the first P.E. blog for the New Year. Hope everyone had a great 2013! We are starting the New Year with fresh skills for the children to experience in P.E. This month in P.E., children are exploring three different types of skills.
Children are learning how to:
1. Roll
2. Balance
3. Chase and Flee
Ask your children what they did in P.E. and encourage them to improve their skills by doing these skills with your child! Balance on certain things while walking home from school together. Play a game of tag if you are at the park. Do a forward roll on top of a pile of pillows before they go to bed! Make sure it’s safe to do so though. Doing physical activities together with your child makes a big difference!
Remember that P.E. is offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:30 P.M. – 2:05 P.M. If you are interested in having your child in P.E., talk to Barry or Jaime.
