The Benefits of Exercise in the Morning
As a professional youth soccer trainer, I have seen firsthand how movement and exercise help children grow physically and intellectually. When exercise is consistent and fun, it sets up children for success as they mature into adults.
In our Little Acres program, we incorporate movement and physical activity every morning. After we come inside from our outside play, the kids are more focused and prepared for the planned learning activities. These focused activities include circle time, math and language arts. When children have the freedom to move in the morning, it’s easier for them to listen, participate and stay engaged with their learning. Take a look at this article for more specific details pertaining to this very important healthy habit.
